newbie from Bama - Error code on addmotor etrike m334?

hi everyone I'm Desten from south Alabama and apologize for starting out asking for help but am having trouble with error code 01 and 024 on addmotor etrike m334 , 48v 750 watt bafang motor
I've troubleshooted the cables and gone so far as to replace the motor and still getting the errors. Would greatly appreciate any help

Sounds like either a connection problem at/in or around the controller or even inside the controller.

oh if ya have the light wire check that as well as the display has it ever gotten wet?

so to start in order of troubleshooting process, I started out checking all connections and found connection problem at the cable input at the motor was pinched at the axle, I ordered and replaced the wiring cable and still have the same issue..when controller is first powered up and throttle is applied I get error code 01. the trike had been sitting for a couple hours unused and when I started to use it it lurched momentarily and shutdown with error...not wet at anytime within several weeks prior and then only misty fog for an hour or so.

What does the manual say that Error Code 1 means? 024?

I'm thinking that maybe when the cable was pinched, it was also pulled, thus breaking the connection somewhere else too. You might start by tracing that cable to either end of the pinch point and see if there's anything sketchy along the way or at the terminations.

my biggest problem is lack of a schematic. I have the skills to troubleshoot just can't find a wiring diagram (even from manufacturer) and really don't want unless absolutely necessary to dismantle any pieces without a reference to reinstall if things get crazy KWIM so far am extremely limited on taking any action without major overhaul of complete electrical system so am looking for a possible easier way out

error 01 initially, ( an adnormality was detected in the drive unit) then when I try to operate motor I get error 024,,, 024 error says to check if phase wire is normal or problem is related to hall sensor, this trike is without a hall sensor to the best of my knowledge ....Problem here is I have no idea what is "normal" for phase wire
I've checked as far as possible ALL connections whether related to motor or not and haven't found any connection problems anywhere so I can only assume it's a motor problem. I have no reference as to what kind of resistance the motor should read but do not see any odd readings to ground from motor leads. At least at this state I'm hoping it is a motor problem because I've just ordered a $400.00 replacement.
