Hey everyone. I'm Bill. Just bought a Burchda rx80 two weeks ago. Person said everything worked but wouldn't turn. I dissassembled the hub and the nylon gears are completely stripped out smooth. Cleaned the hub and debris from motor and gear assembly. My question is Where can I get new gears or complete assembly(gears)?

Hi, do you know who makes your motor? A lot of the gears are fairly generic but you will have to count the teeth and take a lot of measurements, just to make sure they match. You can buy the whole planetary gear or just get the nylon cogs. Your biggest problem is, of course, the tariffs. There are shops on Ebay that still have US stock and some on Amazon, but be careful. If it says, "subject to import fees" it could sky rocket the price. If you are tempted to go with metal gears this time, beware that they are hotter and noisier. If you want to post a picture of your motor plug, I might be able to tell which motor it is. I don't know if these are your size, but I will post one Ebayer who is good enough to say, the price is the price.

Those certainly are munched! Can you count them, I can't. Count the teeth and measure the gears size and we can just keep throwing gears at you until something fits.:giggle:
