hi
after several months of research,
i put together my list for a build..

went from box to builder straight to road /kit installed complete..
bout 10 days from ordering bike to first ride..

donor bike :: new polygon xtrada 7,, great starter and highly upgradeable,,great price
motor kit :: CYC pro gen 1 kit with every bell and whistle..
great specs, cadence and torque sensor, 250NM, no plastic innards,,
motor mounts above chain ring, completely adaptable mounting options,,on and on
battery :: upp 52V 21AH with on board usb phone charger

the kit was through golden motor..he was great, instant replies etc anytime, everytime..
ludicrous programmable display
the local builder was perfect,, hanover bikes

this is my first mtnb and probly will only go on roads and trails etc..nothing extreme..
i can as my skill grows but i won't

not in a million years would i buy bafang..never

so I'm pretty happy bout the outcome

this post has no real purpose..zept for mild smile flex

thx

As an owner of 3 "Bafang" motors BBSO2,BBSHD, M600 I can say that I am completely satisfied with the Bafang brand. The BBSHD is going on 3 years, and the M600 and BBSO2 are both 1 year old and working fine. The BBSHD was a home built MotoBecane Fantom Pro DS that convinced me that Ebikes were the answer to my 68 year old legs. Slam Bafang all you want, but I hear complaints from owners of EVERY brand out there. Please let us know your feelings about the performance after the first 250 miles. At 5KW you have a lot of power to work with, hope the chain line will handle it.

Why the comment; “not in a million years would i buy bafang..never”, (I presume that there is a reason for that statement).

The sheer number of Bafang mid drive builds out there would stand for the unit`s popularity. Glad you found the Holy Grail. As Django said what`s your beef with Bafang Drives? I like the old saying and I think it fits the bafangs. Hot Fast and Cheap just like your first ole lady.
