Bikes not actually in my hands yet but just got notice from UPS it's out for delivery I haven't been on two wheels since 2010 when I crashed my Harley and probably been since the mid 90's that I have rode a traditional peddle bike.. I'm super stoked too get back out there!

50 miles logged and this bike is far exceeding all my expectations! I'm traversing trails with sections that I had to walk my old MTB 30 years ago and now doing them with ease at 60 years old!

If your back is taking a beating from having no rear suspension try a suspension seat post. Cheap and works great.

Thanks for the suggestion Rick, I almost opted for that exact post because of it's budget pricing but ultimately ordered the suntour NCX.. First thing I did was change seats (however the factory seat was surprisingly comfortable) to a Giant city connect and honestly probably didn't need anything else, did 10 miles down a gas line right of way today and felt zero discomfort, little "choppy" at times so hopefully the seat suspension will smooth that out a bit, it should be here Saturday. Still tweeking my front suspension and tire pressure for best ride so a little more room for improvement there also.

I have the Cloud 9 seat and the zoom seat post. So much better than the stock ride.

Thanks so much! The Cloud9 was on my short list as I hear it's a really great seat. I was at my local bike shop looking for a new lock and the owner recommended the Giant city connect seats, he told me if I wasn't completely blown away to just bring it back for a full refund.. the seat is simply amazing, super stiff but so comfortable.
