New emoped and battery volts

Hello all!

About a week ago i purchased my first emoped with 48volt 20ah battery.When its fully charged the volts in the screen read about 50-51v and when i accelerate drops to 46-48.I read on this forum that when a 48volt battery is fully charged it should read about 54.6!Is my new battery bad from factory?I should add that this reading is with the front light on (cant turn off this one)Sorry for my bad english.Thanks in advance !

My 48v battery usually reads right around 54 after coming off the charger. So you either have a misreading gauge or bad battery cell(s) which is most likely.
