I’m keeping my eyes open for it this summer.

I’ve read before of the plan to donate bikes to folks in Africa who spend all their energy walking miles and miles each way to work or school. Like 8 miles each way, as indicated herein. A bike is a game-changer for those folks.

Just wondering if the 'select' places where these ebikes might land have trouble with pedal bikes disappearing already or if everyone already has a pedal bike and that any worry is no less or greater than it is here.
The biggest problem with our poorest countries is people constantly living under the threat of the obvious and frankly having little hope in a higher power far removed from their current structure.

I think that they have bigger problems than faith in “a higher power”. Starvation, lack of medicine, poverty, oppression, natural disasters, man made disasters…..

...it goes without saying that a good majority on that continent have already totally turned their lives over for not only the reasons that you have listed (day to day living) but so many more past, present and certainly future.
