I have a NCM Moscow and the motor seems to be pulsating rather than continuous. Any ideas what the cause might be please?

1st check for loose connection from the wheel, then display. Depending on high mileage, your controller
may be going, If so they are now virtually impossible to obtain**. I paid Amego for one,($150). They sent
the wrong one & swore up & down that's what I ordered. They flat out lied. Said I must order the right
one before I'd be eligible for a 'partial refund after I returned the 1st one. My moscow controller recently
died @ 8,000 miles. Und zo, I bought a 'Wired Freedom', which is like a fat moscow on steroids. The
Wired is simply beyond beyond, crazy power, range, & speed on the latest dual battery model!
Probably totally illegal in the U.K., 43 mph, 3200w peak, 2 60v batteries, 1500w motor, 90+ mi. range,
2100wh, 35 Ah. programmable for classes 1,2, & 3, etc, etc. It's a monster!

**in the U.S, anyway.

Hi, my wife had a Milanjo Plus with a similar problem, the motor was cutting in and out with the rotation of the pedals. After a bit of investigation I traced it to the cadence sensor on the left hand pedal. After removing the pedal, I was able to pull off the sensor and using it's LED indicator check the output, all seemed normal. I then pushed out the rotating part of the sensor to check the status of the magnets, using a small nail on a piece of string I check the strength of each magnet by lifting up the rotating part. I found that one of the magnets had almost no attraction to the nail at all. I purchased a new ( 2mm x 2 mm ) neodium magnet, cost of NZ$ 1-80 and replaced the faulty one. Reassembled the removed parts and now all working as normal. Hope this is of some help. Dave
