Would this be a hub motor? What was reason for replacing? Thanks.

Yep rear hub motor. Had bike on hitch Carrier, it got tapped by truck, bent rim beyond repair, best repair option is rim/spoke/motor “kit”, leaves my current motor surplus. All good though. I could send odometer / running time photo and video of running (tire rubs but motor runs). Thanks, John

I think it might cost me a fortune to ship to the USA thou. I thought about buying it for DIY electric bike.

Well, if it makes sense otherwise, I winter in Phoenix area and am heading down Nov 1. Could have it taken off prior and bring down, ship from there. Where u ??

Sorry to go dark for a bit, I was trying to find a US$ retailer and price for it, but couldn’t, it Would cost rough $250 USD here in Canada. I’d split that with you so $125 USD. Also I checked run time, 35 hours, and mileage, 300 miles, but I can’t upload pics of those here. I hope those make sense / aren’t much, I’m not really a big biker.
