My upgrades to my Lectric XP4 750

I decided to create a new thread on my upgrades, have them all in one place.

So I will keep adding to this as I go along. Just going to start with a list and then add pics and stuff as I go along.

What I've done so far:

• Added 2nd battery 48V/40Ah with load balancer
• Front and rear Cargo package
• Plastic Floors for the cargo baskets (Etsy Stuff)
• BrightEyes 1800 Lumens Stamina Rechargeable Bicycle Light Set
• Down tube bag
• Lectric rear back bag with built in panniers
• Ammo Case for locking storage on front basket (Harbor Freight)
• Cloud Nine Metroline seat (Not installed yet)
• Handlebar Extension Mount (Not installed yet)
• Handlebar Stem bracket to move handlebars back a little (Not installed yet)
• Headlight mount from Etsy to better setup oem headlight
• Kickstand Foot (Broke, Etsy refunded though I didn't ask for one)
• Bottle holder bracket that bolts to the four screws on the stem, gives double the capacity. Etsy
• Wall mount for battery charger (Etsy)
• "Lectric" key fob (Etsy)
• Protective cover for Bike Display (Etsy)

One thing nice, Lectric has a lot of specific upgrades from third parties. While most of this stuff is generic, and fits most brands, it's nice to know it specifically fits my bike.

Front Cargo Basket

Went to Harbor Freight, have coupon, for $2.00 got the plastic ammo case. Bolted to the base of the front Cargo Basket.

The bungee isn't holding it down. Three screws on the bottom of the case. Allows locked storage. Plastic is okay because if someone wanted to steal the case, they would probably take the whole bike. I keep tools in there, parts not needing quick access, and anything I want locked up, out of sight.

In this photo you can also see the double water bottle mount bracket. Water bottle one side, JBL Flip4 speaker on the other...

Finally, hard to see is this little gem from Etsy:

It gives a better mount option to put the headlight on the basket. Allows upright mounting, instead of upside down and less pivoting around the mounting bolt.


So that's the front upgrades, will continue with all the others.


One thing about being a retired adult is you can indulge yourself on this stuff. Raising a family and building a home takes a lot of time and money. Now that I am retired, I have a little more disposable income and can indulge in this.
