48v, 30ah, 35 amp controller, 750w, 7 speed.
I bought this bike is 2015 when Storm Sondors offered them on his first extremely successful Indigogo campagin for $694 shipped. Stock it was single speed, 350w, 36v, 15 amp controller, with 8.8ah bottle battery. Back then most eBikes cost 2 or 3 thousand dollars. Practically overnight Storm sold 5000 bikes all at once, but it was 5 months later before anyone got their bike. During the long wait we started a Facebook owners group,which now has over 12,000 members, I'm an admin for the group. One of the advantages of selling so many bikes at once is it attracted the attention of aftermarket sellers who joined the owners group to find out what kind of upgrades they could offer. The most sought after parts were mostly performance parts, and we wanted them to be plug and play, and the aftermarket came through. Another benifit of so many owners at one place was people sharing pictures of stuff they did to their bikes. I made most of my changes in the first year. Now my bike is 7 years old, and it's been very dependable. My speedometer turns over at 6000 miles (10,000 km), and it's turned over 3 times so far.
