Hey everyone,

Just wanted to post in the E-Moped forum and show my new purchase. Ride1up has been awesome prepurchase and as well as post purchase with a few questions I had. They are always very friendly and responsive and that goes a long way with me.

There were a few other bikes I was cross shopping - 1 was the Ecells 5 Star but the company didnt call me back for over 5 days nor did they respond to the email I sent until about the same (5-6 days) Maybe they were busy however when I did get someone on the phone (after the site saying the bikes were in stock) I did want to add the upgraded front fork to the build. Once I told them that they informed me that made it a custom order and it would be 90 days before the bike shipped. 90 days!! Jeez, I was almost ok with this since I live in NJ and soon the winter will be here and the bike stored away anyway. However I then read on reddit people complaining that it was now past 100 days and they still didn't get their bike. After seeing that I was done with that option.

Next up was the Ariel Rider Grizzly which has fantastic performance and specs however I just simply didn't care for the look design of the bike. Of course that's subjective but I didn't want to just buy a bike based on how fast it was. Most of the time when I am out riding i'm not doing top speed anyway. Looks and comfort of the bike were more important to me then just acceleration/top speed. Plus anything can be modded to go faster so my thought was get the bike you like most and go from there.

Last up was Super73 who I really do LOVE the look of certain models. I think they are incredibly good looking bikes BUT I couldn't look for info anywhere without constantly running into how absolutely terrible their customer service was. Add in the fact that the bike I liked, the R series was almost twice as much as the Revv1 FS and had less performance was a real hard pill to swallow. So that was out.

Soo got the Revv1 FS and absolutely loving it. I'm still trying to perfectly tune the suspension to my height/weight but the bike seems like such a high quality build. Very comfortable and has plenty of performance for me, especially in boost mode. Very happy with my purchase and just wanted to say hi to all my fellow E-moped guys :)

What's the significance of the other bikes in Post #3?

It's a good-looking eMoped, and I think they were smart enough to stick with a nominal 750 W motor, to comply with more laws. However, when/if the battery dies, it will be impossible to pedal on any kind of hill, and difficult to pedal on the flat with that single, high gear, so make sure you're within range of home or are in the mood to push it if you run it all the way down. ;-)

That was the reason I went with the Juiced HyperScrambler 2 when I did the eMoped thing. I'm back to a Class 3 eBike plus ICE scooter now.
