Today I finally made my first Wombat cargo ebike run to Aldi and it went like a charm. No problems....could use a higher gear for top speed pedaling though. Handling seemed better with cargo load weight smooth ride. no sweat nor strain A++

A larger front chain ring would be perfect as I prefer a slower cadence at 20+ mph speeds, otherwise a perfect ride.

I replaced the stock 48T chainring on my Engwe L20 Boost with a 56T chainring, and it made a huge difference. I now change between the 5, 6, and 7th gears when riding, instead of being in 7th all the time. This is good for freewheel gear wear and just feels so much better.

When specifying a chainring, the BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter) number is important. Make sure you order a chainring with the correct BCD, which was 130mm in the case of the L20 Boost.
