Mounting an x-go battery inverted

I purchased an x-go downtube battery, 48 volt 13ah. It won't fit in my frame triangle so I would like to mount it inverted under the frame behind the front wheel. Does anyone know if this is an acceptable way to mount the battery? Would this place too much stress on the batteries inside the case?

Pictures would help to determine, but generally, battery don't care which way it is mounted, as long as they are secured.
Make sure you have solid mounting points to secure the battery on your bike.

As extra security use a couple velcro straps wrapped around the battery to help secure it to the frame.
