2020 mountain e-bike chairing replacement from 43-58 teeth. in order to change gear ratio so the top speed is higher with slower pedaling. well worth the money. about 50-60$. for crank arms and chainring. crank arm puller $15. much more fun on level roads or steep inclines.

Wow Neil that is a big jump in size. I have a Himiway All Terrain and have been thinking about doing the same thing. I haven't as yet because I don't often need that speed but you make it sound like a great idea. I live in hilly area and am not sure it would be a good idea to make a change like this as it would affect my climbing as well.
I think the perfect solution is a mid-drive motor with proper gearing, but that gets expensive for sure.

my top speed is now 28mph instead of 20 mph. i also change the po7 parameter in the advanced options of the controller software (accessed thru the panel) changed from whatever the default setting was to 45 which is no speed limit
