Motor run on

Hi kids, I’ve had my Alibaba special now for a couple months and finally have it running decent.
My bike has a bafang M620 motor and when I start to pedal the motor will start and work fine but when I stop pedaling, the motor will run for a couple seconds. Is this normal with these motors? Is there a way to have the motor stop when I stop pedaling?

It's a setpoint in your motor's programming. I think it's called "stop current decay" Do a search here and on YouTube for "Bafang programming." You'll see what I am talking about.
