I installed a new 1500w direct drive hub motor. When accelerating from a stop there is a loud grinding noise, going about 20mph there is a very loud whining noise. The wheel spins freely when there is no load on the bike, but when I sit on the bike and accelerate there is a loud grinding noise, I’m 170lbs. The performance of the motor seems fine, it goes 35mph. Is there a chance the controller or display can cause the issues I’m having? Your thoughts are appreciated.
