Marin alpine e1 shimano e8 not working

Hello, I’m new to e-bikes… I have a marine alpine e1 with shimano e8 2021… it was working just fine until this noise appeared and then, assist stopped working.

It’s hard to change gears

I live far from the dealership I bought it and there no e-bike mechanics where I live .

Hi, how many miles are on your bike and have you had any crashes or spills lately? According to specs you have a built in speed sensor, but is the magnet on your wheel still there and is it aligned properly? You mentioned it is hard to change gears. If you take off the chain and run the cranks is all of this still happening?
