M2S All Terrain HT, Are they Really on Sale?

Hi all,
New to ebikes and considering buying my first one. Research has led me to M2S All Terrain HT.

The current "sale" price make is very tempting to pull the trigger before I miss out on the $400 discount available right now. Their website shows this bike is normally $2299, but today is available for $1899.

For those whose been around, is this true? Or is this some sort of marketing trick? They seem to have it for most of their bikes right now... all shows "they are $400 below the normal list price."

I have seen that for a long time with M2S. I think it's a marketing trick. I bought this bike in early 2022 and it was "on sale" then.
