Lectric XP4 has dropped

I would just add that the reason I'm so keen on this is that my Aventon Level.2, on the lowest assistance setting, I feel like it is too much. I might be pedaling along at 12 mph. When I turn on assistance to 1, it's hard to go less than 17 mph with almost no effort. I recommended to Aventon that they make this user-adjustable, and they did on the Level.3 model!

I don't know if Lectric yet gives its customers this "power" to change settings within legal limits.

My XP Lite does not. I have 5 settings from which to choose. No torque sensor and the power limit is only what is limited by the controller. It's functional, but sometimes I "have to" go faster than I want to, as there is only one mechanial gear on this bike.

Ah yes. This bike was not designed with roadies in mind. ;-) An electric road bike or gravel bike may have been a better purchase for your expectations, but then you will need to triple your price limit, compared to the XP4.
Definitely. Unfortunately the entry barrier for those bikes is quite high as you said. This is my first ebike as I wanted to get a taste of it. To that effect, for $1000, this is a fantastic bike... roadie or not.
Also, in the meanwhile I got a Bafang mid-drive kit that's going on an analog bike. Currently halfway through on a Cannondale Hooligan but I am strongly considering abandoning that ship and go with a more normal proper sized bike (I have a titanium bike). There is just not enough space to put the battery on Hooligan except on the rear rack which I don't like. But that's a story for a different thread.

Spent a good deal of time researching my first ebike. It turned out to be a F6 Euybike.
I needed something that was foldable I thought and turns out it was a good move. I have a truck and a Saab. I wanted to use the Saab as the truck is too high to get it into and didn't want to get a rack. I take the battery out and it is very manageable rolling it into the back seat. It works much better than I thought it would.

Pic please? I guess you're talking about sideways on the floor.

When you were talking about loading it into your car, I thought: "no way he's gonna get that beast in the back of a Saab."

Went for a long ride yesterday and loaded the bike in the Saab.
Once folded and secured with a piece of line it just rolls into the backseat. I do secure it with a seatbelt.
