I am looking at the Jones H-Bar Bend model or the SG Loop model to shorten the reach to make my ride more comfortable. https://www.jonesbikes.com/h-bars/
The 710mm size should get the grips back far enough. They both have 45 degree sweep. Stock bars have 10 degree sweep at 660mm long.

This video gave me the idea that they should work. He used this 35 degree sweep bar. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...4ae8a31ac73cc&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
Current reviews mention it has change to a more flimsy version. The Jones bar have excellent reviews. Dimensions also match up for swamping things over.

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

I really like the bars in the video and the grips he installed are nice too, thanks for those links. New bars on my XP3 may be something I want to do down the road. I know the wife would like them on hers also because she ask me to move the seat forward to shorten the reach to the bars.
Definitely following this thread so if you go with the Jones H-bars let us know how it turns out.

You are right, that is a problem. 365 Cycles on Ebay has a number of swept back styles that might work with the correct clamp size. The Jones Bars above have a 45 degree sweep, so that gives you an idea of the style on some of these.

These are really nice - I missed out on swept back bars on not buying the nomad 2 step through - gotta talk to my bike shop and see if these would work on my step over - can’t beat the price

You are going to need a 31.8 clamp size on the Nomad 2. Lately I've been lmpressed with Aventon's spare parts pages. They've had some high quality components at very good prices. I was trying to find a complete rear wheel with motor for someone and the best one around was one of theirs.

Thanks Annie - he’s an Aventon dealer as well so I will tell him I want to go with those

Thanks for your help Annie - stopped by my bike guys place this afternoon and he let me ride the step through version of my bike and really liked the swept back bars - apparently they are also used on the Discover models. He’s stopping by the Velotric warehouse Monday so he’s gonna pick one up for me and replace it for no charge

That's great. You are a valued customer. Whenever I swap out bars because I'm going higher, or lower, or just different, I get to a point where one cable or other no longer reaches because of what I've decided to do and I think, "why am I doing this"? So, it's good of him to swap it all over for you. :)

He’s really treated me well and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. I could already feel some pressure relieved on my lower vertebrae just riding with these handlebars

Annie just an update - I had posed the question to Velotric support before going back to his store

They state it is NOT compatible….could they be wrong?

What is not compatible, the Aventon bars? They are 31.8 at the stem fitting and stock 22.2 elsewhere. Unless they've measured you, I don't know what wouldn't be compatible.

Yep Annie and Unit - I’m sticking with what you both and my bike guy are saying - no reason why they wouldn’t be compatible

I also agree Velotric can give out bad info at times, prob like most retailers

The Senqi bars I ordered from Amazon arrived yesterday, they are exactly like the Velotric swept back bars on my step thru. I held them together and bend for bend and taper for taper they are identical, width is the same also. The only difference is the Velotric bars have painted alignment lines on the clamp area helping align them, other than that they are the same bars. See post #6 above for the original link I posted if anyone wants to order one.
