My Battery will not charge and will not load.
The voltage is 40.5vdc. When I apply a 20ohm load the voltage goes to zero and it produces zero amps.
Any suggestions on repairing it would be helpful.
Thanks

Lectric sells a standard replacement for $299 and a long range for $500. I have never tried to have a battery repaired by one of the shops folks on her have mentioned, but with fees and shipping in might be close? if you are thinking of doing it yourself, be very careful, there is a decent amount of electrical potential contained in the packs. Make sure you know what you are up against. Best of luck. We have one Lectric 3.0 for the wife, solid bike.

Lectric is going to replace it under warranty. I will send the inoperable one back to them.

You will pay dearly for shipping, (HazMat fee and packing) but I’m glad Lectric is supporting you here. It would be easy for them to disavow and say the battery is a consumable part and they don’t know how it was treated.

Is there anybody in this world who knows where the internal fuse is in the battery for the Lectric 2.0 battery?? I have the front cover where the key is removed. I see no fuse. Even you tube doesn't show where yet people say there is an internal fuse. Thousands sold and nobody ever replaced the 2 0 xp
Fuse or had the battery encoslosure open and no photo or video. Very strange

I found this one pic. on Reddit. The fuse is an automotive type under that black shrink tubing. Be careful in there. Do you have some nice thick rubber gloves for working on electronics?

Thank you. I will check
There was no fuse so this photo isn't from a Lectric xp battery. Lectric support says the supply is a short circuit current limited short circuit without protected fuse device. Other searches on internet said Lectric batteries are not fused. Thank you.

This is the same response I received from Lectric support:
Lectric eBikes batteries are not fused because they are designed to be safe and have a rating of 800 charging cycles. This means that the average rider should not need to replace their battery for at least 3 to 5 years.

That's funny because that post was labeled as a Lectric 2.0. Maybe it is an earlier model. The bike came out in 2021, so things could've changed. It's good to know though. Glad you found the answer.

From looking at the website, Lectric have a number of ebikes models with "Lectric" and "2.0" in their name!

Yep, there are many "2.0's" now, though he's probably referring to the XP 2.0, which is now discontinued. For awhile, it was the ONLY "Lectric 2.0".
