I just received a “5000W“ stealth clone I purchased from Alibaba and noticed a lack of welds on the rear shock mount and before I contact the company I want to mack sure this is not the correct configuration…? Also can someone confirm that what the accepted power wattage rating of an ebike is peak or nominal?

"accepted power rating" is whatever bald-faced lie the chinese salesman chooses to spew into the white devil's ears.

It looks like the mount just slots into the frame and there are no welds. I can't tell you if it's meant to be this way or not. I've seen reports of someone snapping the rear shock bolt by doing jumps with their Stealth clone.

Ebike motors usually state their nominal wattage. This is the wattage that you can run them at indefinitely without overheating. The peak wattage rating will be much higher.
