Does anyone know how to modify this bike to remove the top speed restriction. It stops about 32mph. I've tried changing everything from tire size to increasing the amps. I know it has more to give cause going down a steep hill it still cuts out. I also have a 6000w mide drive that also cuts out at that speed. I've emailed cyc for help unlocking the mide drive. But the dual hub I can not find anything anywhere how to remove it. It's sad I got 8,000w of power and can do zero to 32mph in about 1.5 seconds then nothing...lol... Again thanks in advance for any info on unlocking the r800 bike.

@addertooth might be able to help. But I think that is the max unlocked speed of that bike. I think the only way you get higher speeds is with move voltage.

Yeah I was entering in the numbers on one of them online speed estimates. Seems like that's all she will put out at 1000w.. I just spent 2500 on the cyc mide drive. That suppose to go at least 60mph. But I don't know how pushing the hubs when they are maxed might cause resistance. Once I get it unlocked I'll try with hubs on, then with hubs off. Thanks for the reply.
