Having tried to diagnose the reason for my 50% charged battery, not taking a charge. It appears from various sources that regularly it is a burnt out fuse on the battery that prevents it charging. I've tried to find the fuse on my battery pack however, I do not want to start dismantling the battery box. as I am a bit unsure what I'm doing?. So if there's anyone out there who can provide me with some guidance I would very much appreciate it.

If you don't want to open the case I was going to recommend a battery rebuilder, but then I saw you are in the UK. I did find this shop over there that will give you an estimate. Why don't you call them and ask them how much it costs to change the fuse?
