Pure joy of cycling that we often forget when discussing mid-drive vs hub-drive, hydraulic brakes vs mechanical brakes.
Doesn't matter if you're 10 or 80 y-o, have a $500 ebike or $10k ebike, if you have a bike that can give you that much joy; you're doing it right.

I'm thinking of having her wear gloves too, as she's getting a quite brave.
She has a 21 speed mechanical bike now, on which she's quite fast. I'm sure she hits 18.6 mph from time to time...
