I know what you mean. I ordered a New Jersey a couple of weeks ago. It’s supposed to be here today.

I just bought one on Ebay for my brother's birthday. They will also put my brother's name on it!!

For extra UV protection, I usually wear long sleeve T’s on rides longer than ten miles and just about every time when I go mtn biking. I, too, have a collection of bright-colored T’s - orange, yellow, and green. However, the long-sleeves are white. I still have a collection of ‘real’ bike T’s, with rear pockets, from when I used to ride my road bike, but I have not worn one in years.

Soccer shirts make for good riding wear. I paid 50-60 bucks for a Donovan US team shirt. Most other soccer shirts I got at swap meets for less than $20.

@Atavar @Hozer : I think the shirts he bought were dirtbike-style long sleeve tees with a bit of armor in them. (we can't see, because the item is out of stock in Hozer's link.

@Chuy I bought a couple of those breathable long sleeve shirts this past summer for swimming, so I didn't need to put sunscreen all over my torso. I think they paid for themselves just in saved sunscreen! Now, I'm wearing them as an under layer to help stay warm, and they've been brilliant for that too! (get a snug size for the under layer use, though)
