Hub motor for 27.5 X 2.8 - Trek Roscoe 7

Does the width matter of the hub motor wheel? I have a Roscoe 7,
Wheel size: 27.5 X 2.8
Do I need to get a 2.8 wide hub motor or just any 27.5 wheel will work? If i do need a 2.8 wide where can I get it?

Hi there, You just get a 27.5" hub motor kit and it should say in the description the tire width that fits on the rim. Your tire width is 2.8". If it doesn't state the tire width then you need to ask the seller.
