How to change when electric motor turns on

Hi,

I have Axon Rides Pro e bike (foldable). It has pedal sensor. The electric motor turns on after 2 full pedal rotations. This is really annoying when I try to start driving on the lights and have a car behind me. I've read some review before I bough the bike and in 2 reviews I read that it can be changed to 1/4 or 1/2 rotation. Show where I bought the bike could not do it and now I don't know how to do it (I've contacted some services and they said they don't know as well, and Axon shop does not respond to my messages).
Anyone know how can it be changed, maybe the controller is the same as in other e bikes and it works similar?
I found that when I press up and down buttons for a few seconds the controller goes to some settings menu but I can only change brightness of the screen and miles to km. All other settings are read only. Maybe there is other way to go to settings to be able to change more settings?

Thanks

I can't find any manual for this bike, even though they mention it and that is odd. I think you are going to be stuck with what you've got. I'm not even sure this company is sustainable. Your bike wasn't cheap. Seriously, since it is running well, if it were me, I would trade it in now for one of the folding ebikes from a larger company, one that has more support, perhaps Estarli. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help, but I think down the road that is your best bet.

This is my plan for January when I pay off this one on Bike2Work scheme. then I will take next one, at least I know what do I need to check before buying.
Just wrote here in case the controller is universal and could be similar as in similar bikes.

I understand. Next bike tell them you need advanced settings ( they are usually listed as P settings) and have them go over them with you, also I know you folks are allowed booster throttles to jump you through an intersection, those can help you if you aren't as happy with your Pas settings because they will do the first bit for you. Best of luck. (y)

The throttle is really slow like 4mph, which does not allow to jump through an intersection. I don't get "Next bike" section if it is about Axon bikes then as I said they do not answer my emails and when I call them they do not pick up. So would be hard to contact manufacturer for getting a help.
Is there other combination of keys or maybe something like hold some other keys again in the settings to have all settings enabled for editing?

I don’t think the settings are there. Companies buy controllers and have them programmed to their needs and add comparable displays. Most of them will not match. People are upset with Engwe right now because they are using controllers that do less than they used to.... OK, so I headed over to Amazon in the UK, put in some sort of acceptable postal code for London and started looking around for what you might be able to do. By chance, we had a bit of a Eureka moment. They have your controller and display, but it is programmable for more functions! So, if you are stuck with this bike you could install this set up and get more of what you want. I'm just going to post what I found here and you can tell me what you think. You would have to program this and tell it how many magnets your motor has, but it is doable. P13 is asking how many magnets your pedal assist sensor has, so that would even allow you to upgrade the sensor on your cranks to a more accurate one. You can also take a look at your current controller to see what it says, but it appears Kunray is the maker of your controller and display. Take a look at the Basic Information page below, it tells you a lot of what you should be able to find for programming.:)

I have gone through the settings on my AXON Pro and this is what I found…

Press "up" and "down" button together 3 seconds to enter the setting interface;

Press "ON/OFF" button to toggle through the Program options -

Up/Down button to change parameter.

POl: meter backlight; 1

P02: Mileage unit. 0:KM 1:MILE; 1

Р03: Voltage level, Base operating voltage; 36

P04: Sicep Time, 0: no-sleep, unit: min; 10

PO5: Assist position,0:3, 1:5,mode; 3

Р06:: Wheel Diameter, unit: inch;Accuracy:0.1; 16

P07:: Number of speed magnets, range : 1-100; 1

(Note: here only for set speed display, doen't affèct the actual speed)

PO8: Speed Limit, Range:0-50km/h,50: means Unlimited speed;(When speed big than setting speed, Turn off the PWM output); 100

P09: Zero or non-zero start, O:zero start; 1 non-zero start; 0

P10: Drive Mode setting; 2

(0: Power Drive, throttle invalid; (Assist power))

(1: Electric throttle Drive mode, Assist invalid)

(2: Both assist and throttle are effective)

P11: Boost sensitivity setting, range:1-24; 1

P12: Boost start strength setting, range: 1-5; 3

P13: PAS Assist Type Setting ( 5/8/12); 8

(Single Hall PAS : set to 5/8)

(Double Hall PAS : Set to 12)

P14: 12 (not sure?)

P15: 0300 ( not sure?)

P16: ODO xxxxxx - long press up button 5 seconds to clear

Thanks very much for posting this. I think GregNx needs to check his P13 setting and then count how many magnets are on his Pas sensor, apparently there are two types sold. He may be able to install a new one if his is not sensitive enough and the plugs match, either that or it could be, that his settings are wrong. How is your pedal assist working, does it hesitate?
