How many Roll-Road Emma 3 owners?

I think the hardness of the rear shock absorber is fine, my partner thinks it's a bit hard and wants to adjust it a bit softer, how do I adjust it? Loving the Emma bikes so far

I was wondering if anyone had cruise control on. How was the experience of using it. I've seen people say that this feature distracts you, and risk you'll get in an accident. But the trails I ride a lot on are paved roads with almost no bikes or people. I think it would be an interesting feature. Especially on longer rides, and Emma 3 got 2 huge batteries, it would be sore to ride all day with your wrists twisting the throttle handlebars all the time. Another thing I'd like to know is if it automatically exits cruise mode when you go back on the pedals after going into cruise.

Here's what I said in a previous post about cruise control.
After I turned it on, I wasn't too sure that I liked it and if I would keep it activated. One more thing to think about in an emergency.
But after a couple of days with cruise control activated, I got used to it and decided to leave it on. It's become a no-brainer. Just a touch on the brakes or a blip of the throttle turns it off.

I haven't tried pedaling to turn cruise control off, but I will try it today.

I have a bit of a problem with my new Emma 3.0. When going up hills pedaling I’m getting an occasional chain slip. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?

Yes, I had same issues here. The chain slipped off from the crank. Then the CS guided me to adjust the chain tensioner. And then fixed it. Is yours the same?

It’s not slipping completely off the crank, just skipping a tooth when I put some hard pressure on the pedal. I’ll look into the chain tensioner. Did you tighten or loosen? Thank you for your response.

I need to look at it closer when I return home. As I understand it’s actually a derailleur that works the same as a tensioner. Thank you for your help.

The typical competent-bicycle-mechanic way to increase chain tension with a derailleur, which handles cage tension differently than a chain tensioner, is to remove a link from the chain. But given how this drivetrain is kludged to use a derailleur like it is, I'd ask the manufacturer for their solution.

Anyway, derailleur or tensioner, you need to align the chain straight. The chain on the crank is on a plane with the chain on the tensioner. You need to check that your tensioner is not crooked.

Newbie here, anyone copied the NFC on the phone successfully. I'm an old bird, and just using NFC cards. But my son wants to be able to copy it to his cell phone, and he's been looking for a lot of information, and it's not working, and he's got an Apple 12.

Looking for a hitch-mounted rear carrier, Emma 3 is a heavy bike. Any recommendations for a heavy duty rear carrier? How can I put the ebike on and secure it for long distance transportation?

I think you need to remove both batteries first, the frame weighs a lot less, and you'll be able to find a carrier in that range. But we haven't used carrier either. Because it's a really heavy bike, HEAVY duty, we usually ride with two adults on it
