The amount of time it takes someone to ride a bicycle 5 miles depends on various factors. Still, a beginner, on average, needs 15 to 45 minutes to finish 5 miles, whereas a professional needs less than 15 minutes. i think i found good answer with details.

The amount of time it takes someone to ride a bicycle 5 miles depends on 1 thing; their average speed over 5 miles.
The average speed depends on various factors. Equipment, terrain, riders physical condition, weather and many more.

I totally agree with the above statement also with Tobykeller. It depends on your ability and your bike.
For example I ride 4 miles every day to work. It takes me 10-12 minutes to get to work. To get home is a little bit less but mostly downhill. The terrain that I ride is hilly. I am using an lectric step through 2.0.

If I was younger, on the way home I would probably go faster. But, 30 miles an hour on the down hills my limit. And that’s pushing it. LOL
