Can anyone help me on how to remove the speed limiter on the Hittroad Safari? I haven't been able to quite figure it out despite some research. You cannot change the speed via display (King Meter KM3209)..there is no speed option there. It has a rear bafang motor (RM G020.350.D/DC1) and the controller is a LSW781 from Lishui. I can provide more information if needed!

Does it have a spot in your display for a 4 digit code you can enter?

Ok you possibly need to set wheel size first. Set it to your wheel size or as close as possible. Then press your mode button & your speed limit settings should be visible, it should be set a 15 now.

Now hit the +button to increase it to 40, that is the max setting for the bike.

Then hold the mode button to save your settings.

has anyone ever figured it out for this bike I just got one and I've taken the whole thing apart every now and then trying to find a controller or sensor and I can't really find anything I looked for the magnet I know some bikes use them and they are located on the rear disc brake or sometimes the frame I tried set the wheel size on the speedometer I tried that as well but all I get is like error codes I can't get into any sort of settings or anything I know speedometer it's just a little LCD speedometer with a plus and minus sign and a power button and I've tried many combinations oh pushing and holding buttons also pressing the brake and turn on the throttle and then turning the speedometer on no matter what combination of things I do it will just throw codes when I try I opened the battery I didn't see a controller in there at all I used a boroscope camera and went inside the frame also didn't see a controller inside there at all I would imagine my guess is the speed limiter is inside the rear hub motor there's a little sensor like right in front of the crank arm but I figured that was just for this pedal assist because the tire still spins up to 20 mph regardless of the pedals are moving or not any help would be cool I can take pictures I've done a lot of research on trying to find the limiter and diff types of limiters and locations and used a magnet to try to see if they put it inside the frame somewhere I also have an aventon adventure 2 the battery will be here Friday it's a way more expensive bike with a way better display so hoping i can do that one on the display I know different states have different specs on how fast a bike can go and what not I own a lot of land in these bikes do not go on the road so any help with be appreciated
