Yes me and my wife purchased some himiway e bikes hers a zebra with 750 hub motor and mine a cobra with suspension 1000w motor.

The problem is my wife's seems to have more power and speed I even changed my controller went and adjusted the top speed yet hers goes right past me. Am i missing something how can I even tell if I got the 1000w motor

What battery voltages are each bike? Also what amp controllers are in each bike?

What is your wife's size compared to your size? You also have super fat tires and full suspension two things that can slow you down. I think your bike might also weigh about 9 lbs. more than hers. If you lock out the suspension and put on narrower tires, the bike might speed up. There are some interesting threads regarding the weight issue on Endless Sphere.

I have no idea what controller is in our bikes how would I find out? I did add a different lcd screen to mine it was supposed to help with the power but I am not sure it did

I have somewhat of the same issue. My wife rides an Aventon bike with a750watt motor and I ride a hardtail MTB with a 1000 watt motor. She can easily pull away from me and we typically ride about 17-18 mph on the roads. This bothered me until I looked at the weight issue. Her bike weighs about 50lbs and she weighs 110. My bike weighs close to 85 lbs and I weigh 200. So she is pushing about 160 lbs on her bike and I am at 285 lbs. On our mountain roads she out climbs me but but on the down hill I easily catch up and have to brake. On the flats, I have adjusted the gearing so that at a cadence of 75 I can easily do 20mph.

I found the manual for your display. I think your controller is set for 20 amps max and is probably set now at 15. Have you switched bikes with your wife to see how fast she is on the Cobra. As Cybersnow says, it may be the size difference.
