I have the Heybike Horizon. I have owned it for 9 months. When I leave the battery in the bike, it will go dead after a few days. If I remove the battery from the bike it will stay charged. This issue has only been happening for the past 2 month. No problem leaving it in the bike the first 7 months. I always turn the bike off after use. I was told by Heybike to replace the battery. I don't agree. I need to find out where the parasitic drain is.

Ok so then it's totally possible that something is drawing from it, and @Annieolnie's suggestion is the way to go, since the controller is still able to draw power from it

So... My first test was to keep the battery in and leave it overnight with the display unplugged. Before the test the battery was at 54v. After the test the battery was still at 54v. I will leave it for another couple of days and test again. Before, with the display plugged in the battery would go from 54v to zero in about 5 days.

That's very interesting.

If it's not emptying that way, I am suspecting that it might not necessarily be the display. The controller might detect that there's no display, and behave differently.

Yes, I agree, but it most assuredly is not the battery. I checked it again today and the battery has remained fully charged when the display is unplugged. I left it in the bike for 3 days and it would have been drained by now.
