My wife has a Heybike Cityrun that was purchased in August 2023. Around the 1st of May it could not be turned on using the display controls. I downloaded their app to my phone and was able to turn the bike on and off but that was it, I could not change display functions or PAS levels. I sent Heybike support an e-mail on May 10th stating my issues and received my 1st reply on the 13th. They requested some additional info and a short video of the problem which I provided. They provided a new display which arrived on the 23rd that I installed, it was plug-n- play. I can only speak for myself but I'm happy with my experience.

I reported screeching brakes. They gave me a tuturial on how to adjust them. I did, still screeched loudly. They asked for a video, which I didn't feel comfortable taking a video while trying to brake. I feel like they brushed me off so as not to have to honor something. Just junk brakes, that's all.

Just leave the phone in the mount or your pocket. They just need the noise, not a video of a caliper.

Stay away from Hey Bike. There are many other options out there. I purchased a Hey Bike Brawn and it ran fine for about 9 months. After the 9 months, the pedal assist and accelerator stopped functioning after coasting downhill and had to be shut off and turned back on to get it functioning again. I contacted customer support for months, with them saying the engineers are looking into it, to it is by design as a safety feature, to not sure why that is happening, we'll go back to the engineers. Ultimately, they didn't cover under warranty and didn't do anything to fix it. So I continue to have to pull over in traffic to shut my Hey Bike off, so I can restart it and get the PAS and accelerator to work. Terrible quality, and even worse service!

I agree! Stay away.
Steer tube crooked and they didn't want to do anything but BS me about it. I sent videos and photos of my measurements.
Anyway .... Buyer beware.
I got a FreeSky bike and they've had the best customer service.
