Help! Cruise Control on Zeegr F1 Pro Engages Automatically - Can't Turn it Off

I'm still trying to get my new e-bike a Zeegr S1 running to the point where I can take it for a ride and reasonably expect to make it back. This new bike came from the factory with a short pin (cut?) in the 12 pin comm. connector (10 pins in a circle with 2 pins thru the middle) this short pin has caused ALL kinds of different error codes. This was a real booger to find, shining a flashlight at the end of the connector (male end) I saw 11 points of light instead of 12 points of light. That's how I found the shorter pin. It didn't reflect light like the full length pins. A fair sized pothole (shock) killed the whole system, display blank no juice. Moved the connector and power flickers on and off. I'm now waiting for a replacement cable (from china of course) Hey sellers, how about stocking some parts stateside. To me this is a no brainer. Today is 04/17/25 I received this bike 03/11/25 good thing I didn't have any trips planned!

I mentioned in another thread that my bike completely died - no power - less than 5 miles into my first ride. It was the battery equalizer/combiner that essentially puts both batteries into parallel. It was only rated for 30 amps. It blew when I was riding on the beach with both motors wide open = 40 amps+. They sent a new 50 amp model from China. It got to the US really quick. The slowest part was USPS. The new one works well, but I've been mainly running on one battery at a time. I started another thread wondering if this is bad - it could be bad for the batteries as they are rated for 40 amp max discharge (each.)

Anyway, I hope you get your part soon and it resolves your issue!

I might be talking through my hat here, but I stumbled on a site that claims to make controllers for Philodo and Zeegr. They are called Smlro. You could talk to them and see if they have your older model controller. If it were me, I'd ask for a model with no cruise control at all. I can't find out much about them but they seem to know more about this than Zeegr does, make sure, if you choose one, it is compatible with your display. If you talk to them, let us know what they say.

I have an F1 pro as well green, i purchased in Aug of 2024, brakes kept failing saying brake failure on screen 05 code so i installed new brakes without cutoffs. AND the 17p setting does work and disengages the cruise control which if you dont have brakes cutoff with cruise control on the motor will keep running so im thankful the setting works. HOWEVER I just purchased another one 2 weeks ago beginning of April 2025, black in color Same F1 Pro. And it seems slightly different, battery slightly smaller components (shocks, Motor button, handle grips) all different compared to my green one. I got the same run around for my black model from SMLRO seller on Amazon that the cruise control cannot be disabled, dont know how this is possible when my green one works? i love the bikes, i have over 1200 miles on my green one. But if the brakes start failing on the black one and the cruise control cannot be disabled I'm screwed. Thinking about returning it cause of this! 8 month difference between purchasing first one and second one dont know how they messed it up this bad.

Annieolnie. Thanks for the information . I'm new to e-bikes and this helps a bunch! Uncle of

To all who replied , thanks for your time and knowledge. I receive the replacement iT5 12 pin communication cable, installed it and the bike started working correctly. My short rides became longer and further away as my confidence grew that I wouldn't be left stranded . I have 289 miles on the ODO now ( ya, not much) and am running full batteries to 10% which for me equals about 23 miles. Rolling weight, locks, tire repair, wrenches, etc. right at 100 lbs. I've upgraded the shock to a (air shock) which helped the rear tire travel a bunch and my butt along with it. Upgraded the seat and tires, the first for comfort and the second for (hopefully) fewer road repairs. I have panniers on order and will purchase a second battery for increased range. Heck, I might even start pedaling more and then again maybe not!
I bought this e-bike from "Bluval" on Amazon and they have been pretty good about getting me replacement parts to repair what was not working right out of the factory box. I ask the Bluval,s service representative lots and lots of questions, received very few answers and at one point I ask if I was taking with a real person of a AI program . I received a ambiguous answer! To Bluval's credit: I did get what I needed to repair the bike even if the parts did come from China with the time delay for shipping (how about stateside parts stock). Bike problems and the troubleshooting involved is on you the buyer with this outfit, if you don't know much or anything about e-bikes just get one that has problems. Ha Ha.
All in all I think I'm gong to really enjoy this e-bike, I have already found (to my surprise ) that in my local area I can take gravel roads to just about anywhere I want and staying off the 55 mph. blacktop . Got my first motorcycle in 1964 and have been in love with two wheels every since!
