Be aware that the weight of the bike and the width of the tires makes a great deal of difference in the bike rack that can be used, the need for a ramp, and availability of a suitable solution. At one end are the bikes with tires narrower than 3 inches and weighing less than 60 lbs and at the other end are bikes that weigh 70 lbs and have 4 inch wide tires. With our two bikes that weigh 70 lbs each and that have 4" wide tires there were very few racks available and even fewer that had a provision for a ramp (loading the bike closest to the vehicle is the concern). I decided upon the 1UP Super Duty Double rack and then had to modify the supports for the wide wheels and buy a motorcycle ramp for loading the bikes which then needs to be carried inside the vehicle. If I had realized the problems I was going to have with the bike rack and its modifications (for wider tires, adding a ramp, mounting a license plate holder, attaching brake and turn signal lights) I would have looked for different bikes. Part of the problem is that between the pandemic and the surge in interest in e-bikes most models have been in very short supply or not available at all. There is something to be said for buying something like the RadCity or the Blix Vika+ and then seeing what is available a year from now. In terms of Class III bikes the technology is improving year to year and this is another reason to take your time before buying the ultimate bike.
