Good morning from SoCal. I'm new to the E-bike world. Bought by Bomber 2 weeks ago and but about 40 miles on it so far. Still learning pretty much everything about them but I'm having fun so far.

Glad you're enjoying eBiking.
Get a good lock, NOT a cable lock; thieves love eBikes, especially homeless, and there are a lot of homeless in your area. (I had one eBike stolen, most likely by a hobo this year...)

Yes, there are a lot of homeless in my area so I am absolutely careful where I park and how I lock up the bike. I am currently using an ABUS lock which has done well for me so far, I also double lock the bike and remove the battery when I go in anywhere for any amount of time. I am working on getting insurance for it incase it is stolen but still in the research phase that.
