Hello All, I ride a Keteles P800 Pro - had it about 6 months but not done many miles yet. It's a great bike under battery assist but an absolute pig with a flat battery - it's happened twice, leading me to be concerned about it's actual range, I'm only getting about 25 miles so far but hoping this will improve once the battery has settled in. What sort of mileage do others get?

I looked at those bikes before buying my bike which is pretty similar. Need a little info before anyone can begin to answer your questions. Mainly which battery do you have? How fast do you usually ride? One motor or both? What's the terrain and conditions, hills, winds etc.? How large, tall & heavy are you? 25 miles at near max throttle is pretty good. On the other hand on PAS 1 and pedaling you should be able to get a minimum of 40 miles on a 23AH 48 volt battery running one motor, using the front motor only as needed not to go faster. As I said I have a similar bike and I am just over 6 foot, wide shoulders and near 200lbs and I can go about 50 on a full to empty battery. I haven't because I don't like running any battery flat! I have been 46 miles and still had a little juice left , maybe 10-15 miles.

Hi BiggKidd, the battery is 48v 23Ah. I ride mostly off road on reasonable surfaces, undulating ground but generally not steep hills.
I am around 180lbs, use almost exclusively 1 motor in 1, 2 & 3 power settings riding around 14 - 16 mph. Nowhere near your mileage!
After the 2nd flat battery & struggling home, I will give it another try from full charge & see how we get on.
Thanks for your interest.

Make SURE your tires are aired up properly. If they are low it will really cut your mileage! Low pressure rides good but eats power high pressure rolls easy but rides a little rougher. Most of these tires can run as low as about 5psi and most max out at 20 or 30 psi, try running them right at the max pressure, esp. the rear tire where 90+% of the weight rides.

Also just make sure both wheels and brakes are rolling free by lifting up an end at a time and spinning the tires by hand. If it doesn't rotate freely that could also be an issue.

Well I ordered the same bike yesterday. I will keep watching the results. By the way, how long did it take
before receiving your bike after ordering? Fly
