First flat on my ebike - the tire is ruined

Not sure what I hit, but it left a 1cm hole in the tire. Is there any way to repair this?


Otherwise I'm thinking replacing it with the origin 8 vortex tire:

I've actually put a patch on the inside of my ebike tire and ridden it for a long time. It was a 26 x 1.70 Hutchinson Gotham and I didn't feel like forking out for a new one. Your tire looks wet in the photo. When rubber gets wet it cuts very easily. The water is like a lubricant for the sharp object to pierce the tire.
