I have just purchased a second hand Ferber 2B hybrid electric bike with a pannier battery. I thought it would be simple to purchase a new battery but cannot find anything on eBay/amazon or regular cycle shops. Is it possible to put a completely different battery assembly on the bike. I can see that there are 4 live connections within the battery casing a positive and negative plus two others. At the moment the issue I think I have is that other battery packs have 5 connectors but I do not know if they will work in the same way.
