Be careful when buying on Aliexpress. I recently purchased an Engwe X24 29.2Ah; they short delivered one battery. When I disputed the transaction, they altered the webpage/purchase order to X24 19.2Ah battery pack. I took a screen shot of the purchase of the day of purchase but they refuse to acknowledge the page was altered. The bike is set up for the double battery pack which includes modules for charging and swapping, so I assume the battery was removed prior to shipment as single battery bikes of this model do not have the additional electronics. These guys will do anything to cheat, be careful or stay away from these fake vendors.

They took $300 of my money for a battery and when I returned it they wouldn’t give my money back. I had sent the battery back and had receipts to prove the return. Talking to them very difficult as their accent is. Hard to understand.

Sorry to hear this.
I have found, from experience, the CCP will not allow the re-import of these items, therefore you cannot return items and/or get a refund UNLESS the vendor is very honest and views the extensive government paperwork that rejects the import. That country is a mess.

They sent me a return label and an address to send it to. I sent the battery back and got a confirmation of delivery. I sent all that to prove that I had sent the battery back to them. They still won’t budge and they still have my money. I called my credit card and they tried to get it back and they were not able to do it either.

I buy stuff on Aliexpress a lot, but going in I expect if anything goes wrong I'm going to lose my money. Even in spite of this risk Aliexpress is still the number 1 store in the world for eBike parts.

fyi, even though we're being told about tariffs on China, I made an order yesterday and prices haven't changed.

Gidday mate:
yep, fortunately, that has been changing over the last year as my purchases have shifted to other platforms and direct to vendor in which ever Asian country the parts were made, to level the risks out. But, when a platform, like Aliexpress, actually starts altering descriptions of the product after a dispute begins is way too much for me. Their lack of transparency makes it difficult to determine whether the vendor (Soaring Sky) or Aliexpress is guilty of this monkey business, both were polite and the people, you can actually chat with, are really good but the bots in the "judiciary" are opaque.
Anyway, the number of cases with Aliexpress has been increasing. This case cost me over 200bux, that is the breaking point for a retail platform transgression.
I drive on the beach and off road so parts consumption is high.
Have a gr8 day :)
