E bike noob. Please help

Im looking to buy my first e bike, and am trying to avoid buying the wrong type. Im looking for something to ride around city streets, up to 10 miles. As a beginner, would the difference between a $2500 bike and a $1250 bike be noticeable?

lots of research. 2500 bike quality will be significantly better in most cases. But you never know how good one is until you actually try it. Maybe jump on some forums and see what other people have found in that price range? Just my 2 cents. Best of luck.
