Hi is it possible to run two x 48v 17.5amp batteries each producing 840 wh in parralel with a 60amp controller and 1000w brush less hub motor??? IE + to +, & - to - ,I know it s still 48v but not sure the rest and don't want to burn anything out trying unless know it's ok

it will function, as long as the batteries discharge exactly equal. If one battery discharges more than the other, electrons will be flowing between the two batteries when the motor is not drawing power. I have two batteries on my bike and I just run them separately alternating between them. When I want maximum power I just switch to the one that’s the highest voltage left.
