E-25 error message - Aventon Pace 500

Just got my Pace 500 back from an Aventon dealer who did a flush on the rear brake. Now I get an E 25 message on the display and the motor won’t turn on. The owners manual tells what that E-25 message means but not how to resolve it. Anybody out there know?

You may have a faulty brake sensor. Make sure you do not squeeze the brake lever while you turn the bike on. I had an Aventon for all of 6 months and after they sent me the second bike I finally gave up and got a full refund. While my bike was fast as hell, it gave me nothing but one problems. I will say Aventon was excellent at trying to fix my issues, including (ultimately) giving me a full refund. I hope your issues do not continue.

You're lucky. My Event in is 6 months old. I had the Error 25 problem without the code. Had to figure it out myself. Next the cadence sensor went bad.
Little help from Aventon.
Has anybody replaced the control unit?

I ordered new brake handles from Amazon. They included the cables that plug into the controller.
