Do Bafang hub drives coast OK when you stop pedaling?

Do hub drive bikes cruise for any distance when you stop pedaling them? Or do you slow down quickly?

They will coast for quite a distance and how far, depends on the motor bearing quality.

Thanks, it is a Bafang 1000W hub. I figured it should coast for a good distance but I slow down quite fast
