A hard shelled, waterproof (and modestly lockable) dry box from harbor freight, three "J" hooks, wingnuts and a piece of wood and I had a sturdy, securely fastened dry box that can be removed or swapped out with my larger "grocery getter" bin in about 30 seconds.

EDIT: By request... The drybox is an Apache 3800 from Harbor Freight.

What is the frame or rack that the box is mounted to that attaches to the bike. Looks really sturdy and well built.
