Hi. I have a noise from the crank under heavy load that sounds like the noise you get when you gear selection is between gears. I had the bike serviced and the chain and cassette were changed. I even had the chain waxed, but the noise is still there. To me it sounds serious but the dealer said the motor was fine. He suggested changing the chain ring but I'm not convinced. The bike is 18 months old and covered 1800km. Any body had similar issues. Thanks all.

They've been having trouble with the crank bolts working loose and then, the crank arms become sloppy and need to be replaced. There is a recall for this. Some people have also had a grommet in the midrive start to back out. Has that happened to you? Whatever it is holding in place might then start to shift.
