My Roll Road Emma 3 has a cruise control function in the controller. After I turned it on, I wasn't too sure that I liked it and if I would keep it activated. One more thing to think about in an emergency.
But after a couple of days with cruise control activated, I got used to it and decided to leave it on. It's become a no-brainer. Just a touch on the brakes or a blip of the throttle turns it off.

Thank you, Dan. May I know how to set the P and turn on the cruise control ? It seems like a cool feature.

Did a test run today to see what actions turn the cruise control off while you're riding.
Changing the PAS setting while CC is on turns it off.
Blip the throttle turns it off.
Braking turns it off.
Turning off the electric turns it off.
Beginining to pedal does NOT turn it off.
Turning the lights on or off does NOT turn it off.

Thinking evil thoughts about the bike does not turn the CC off. The bike enjoys that and so, speeds up!

It's this video for Emma 3.0. I will try this weekend based on your experience. You are cute:LOL::LOL: But with cruise control, you don't have to hold the throttle all the time. I'm afraid I can't help thinking evil thoughts.

I am a student and new to ebike. Looking for the right ebike. I have read some posts and hope to find the right ebike for commuting and going on excursions from them. Of course I am an adult and have my own drive licence. However the dual battery ebikes are all slightly out of my budget. I'm considering saving up for an Emma3. Is there any particular aspect of it that is appealing other than the cruise control?

It's appealing to me because it is big, goes 35 mph, and feels like a motorcycle. And to tell the truth, I'd rather have a motorcycle, but my wife and my insurance company say NO.
