Conti Tour 28 700C tube seam leak.

Had a flat yesterday, when I got the tube out i found a leak on the top (spoke side) of the tube. It looks like a mold seam failure, not a puncture or spoke hole tear. BTW sealant does no good on leaks on the top side of the tube.
Is this a common problem, all I can find is great reviews for Conti tubes ...

Happened again today with new tube. Seems the rim tape wasn't wide enough and it was shifting, hench pinching of the top of the tube
