Hi bought a new Burchda RX80 bike. I love it. Still, I wish it has a taillight with brake light. I bought a genetic taillight from Amazon and able to connect to the headlight wire from the controller. However, the controller doesn't have brake light output. That would have to tab off from somewhere. I wonder if anyone have done that. If anyone want to know how I install the taillight, post a request here then I will give you the details.
hi SergeK, connecting the taillight is very easy. You need to open the cover to the controller from the left crank arm. There you will see two pairs unused wires. The red/white are power wires and don't need them for the taillight. The brown/white are the headlight wires. You'll connect the taillight to them. When you turn on the headlight, the taillight is on as well. There only issue I have is the wire come with the taillight is not long enough to reach to the controller. I had go replace them with longer wire.

a bit off topic but may I ask if anyone had issues with PAS out of the box with the Burchda rx80?
I am getting no power assist although everything else seems to work properly. I don't see any errors on screen and have nearly full power.
I appreciate any advice on the subject as there is nowhere to find FAQ's or troubleshooting suggestions.
